Mayflower II 1957 - 2007
2007 marks the 50th Anniversary of the transatlantic crossing of Mayflower II from England to Plymouth Harbour in Massachusetts, USA. The original Mayflower, crowded with its ‘pilgrims’, other colonists and their provisions, sailed into this part of the New World in 1620. This short promotional video gives a brief glimpse into how this magnificent reproduction of a 17th century sailing ship has now become a living  history experience for many thousands of visitors from all around the world.

It is a prelude to the production of a series of films about the people and places in both England and America that played a significant part in this adventure. The Spirit of Wilberforce 1807 - 2007
This video tells the story of how the CCM team at Moggerhanger in Bedfordshire were inspired to commemorate the 200 year anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade, by commissioning a replica slave ship ‘The Zong’ as a floating exhibition in the Pool of London. This video was a prelude to our involvement in the commemorative event & exhibition which took place between 29th March and 9th April 2007. See ‘Free at Last? - The Zong Slave Ship’.

Free At last? The Zong Slave Ship
This short film is an excerpt from a commemorative DVD and records some of the highlights from the visit of a replica slave ship and exhibition to the Port of London on the 29th March 2007.
