Telling Your Story Roger & Kate Stanway live in Newmarket, Suffolk (England) - a husband and wife team - making short films on video for DVD and web distribution. Both of us started out as lawyers and, by separate routes, progressed into media work. Kate as scriptwriter, presenter and narrator for LNTV (a video training service for lawyers) - making over 150 broadcast quality programmes of 30 minute duration in documentary and studio news styles. Roger trained to broadcast standards as a cameraman, editor and presenter in Canada in the 1980s - he has latterly been involved with a variety of community media projects in the UK. Together we have recently focused on history and heritage topics for educational, promotional & commemorative purposes. We particularly enjoy telling short stories of people and places in video vignettes and cameos, but our latest project - The John Smith Story - is an hour long educational DVD for school use, with supporting materials.
